You’re a leader and you’re looking for something to change

With you AND your team. You’re not sure exactly what the solution is.  Is it:

  • leadership coaching

  • executive coaching

  • team coaching

  • management training or is it

  • consulting advice - and if so what kind of consulting??

You’re self-aware enough to know exactly what you’re good at and you’re humble enough to know that there are things you can always be better at. You’re also smart enough to know that with a little bit of help you and your team could achieve a whole lot more, with a whole lot less struggle.

Leadership is relational

Leadership is an agreement between the leader (with or without a formal manager’s hat) and the person agreeing to follow.  Which is why I work with whole teams, not just individual leaders. I have seen that transformation comes through group commitment and communication, alongside individual insight and action. For more on the power of relational coaching, read this post

This is when I think of the Swedish word “smorgasbord” for how I help, but I’m aware no one is searching for “leadership and team smorgasbord”.

So, let’s get a little bit more corporate-y; you’re looking for a unique balance of leadership and team development, with varying amounts of 1-2-1 coaching, team gatherings and feedback loops.

As a certified leadership and team coach I can help you unlock the value and potential in your whole team

Is your team a trustful high-value team?

Before you book a no-obligation consultation with me, take a look at these questions and see which ones resonate with you. Maybe you could rate your answers out of ten, with ten meaning you don’t really need me:

  •  Does your team truly trust each other or is there artificial harmony or unresolved conflict?

  • How good are you all at making decisions, especially in team meetings?

  • Are you able to tell the difference between feedback, praise and criticism and choose the former over the latter?

  • Is your team sustainably aligned, energized and focused?

  • Can you surface simmering conflict and differences and handle the conversation with kindness and grace?

  • Do you know AND agree what your team’s purpose is and how well do you inter-relate with other teams and stakeholders?

Moyra has been instrumental in building successful leadership teams for me across different operating models, uniting members from diverse backgrounds under a shared culture of open communication. Her strategic guidance helped create resilient, adaptable teams, and her long-term executive coaching pushed me to think more creatively and strategically.

And back to that Swedish smorgasbord

Back in the 90s, when I was a qualified English Language Teacher, I helped to set up a new Business English teaching center in London for EF Language Schools, a pioneering Swedish company founded by Bertil Hult who believed people learn best by being immersed in the culture of the language they’re learning.

Twenty years later the Hult organization is now the educational sponsor of the Nobel Prize Museum in Stockholm and, when I studied for my master’s, I chose one of the top business schools in the UK, which also happened to be five minutes from where I lived.

Ashridge Hult Business School is where I got my MSc and where I am now adjunct faculty, contributing classes on reflective practice, leadership communication and emotional intelligence.
